Society of Mechanical Engineering Students (SOMES) is a non-political and non-profit student organization of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IOE Purwanchal Campus. Established in 2013, SOMES is dedicated to promoting academic excellence, technical innovation, and professional development among mechanical engineering students through workshops, technical events, projects, training programs, and industry collaboration. By fostering leadership, creativity, and applied engineering skills, SOMES continues to strengthen the technical and professional environment of the campus while preparing students for future challenges in engineering and technology.
